Bullet Journaling + Hazelnut Coffee Cream
As I write this, I am listening to Moral Philosopher Will MacAskill on What We Owe The Future on the Deep Dive with Ali Abdaal podcast. (I’ve linked the YouTube video of there interview for you above.)
What We Owe The Future is the name of MacAskill’s new book. I was so intrigued by this interview that I pre-ordered the book on Audible. I’ll let you know what I think of it when it arrives.
This week I’ve decided to tackle the dirty job of cleaning my writing/workout shed. Because the shed has no air conditioning, using the space during the Tennessee summer has been impossible.
It is getting a little cooler in the mornings, so I’ve started the slow process of making the shed ready for fall and winter use.
I’ll share some photos as soon as I am finished.
In this section of the newsletter, I’ll share somethings I found interesting this week.
Of Eating + Drinking
Starbucks Non-Dairy Creamer - Almond Milk & Oat Milk Hazelnut Latte: I recently found this delicious Hazelnut Latte coffee creamer, and I L-O-V-E it! If you’re picky about the thickness and texture of your coffee cream, we’re pretty much related. When my coffee cream is too thin, I can’t drink it. This is a common problem with almond and oat milk creams - they are thin, and use too much stevia for sweetness. This one, however, is delightful! If you try it, let me know what you think!
Of Writing Tools
YSTUDIO Fountain Pen from Lochby: You know how you find something online that you want to buy, but you can’t really justify buying it at that moment, so you add it to a folder where you keep all the thing you want to buy “someday”? Well, this pen was one of those items for me. Recently, I finally cracked and bought it for myself. It is a perfect fountain pen. It has a medium nib, and heavy, metal body. The ink flows smoothly. I’m so, so happy I got this pen. (I would have included a link for you, but the pen appears to no longer be available.)
