Hello friends,
As I type this, I am also working on a packing list.
In a few short days, I will be boarding a plane to visit my author friend, Annette. While Annette and I have a standing appointment for a video chat each week, I have not seen her in person for years! It’s going to be so nice to see her outside of the magical rectangle that is my phone.
In addition to getting my travel life together, I’m fighting the last of the bronchitis that attacked me without warning. I haven’t been sick in years, and this was just bananas.
Typically,I’m a healthy person - physically active, eat well, etc. I guess it was just my turn.
What I’ve Been Reading
📖 Living with a Seal by Jesse Itzler - 💪 David Goggins. If you don’t know who David Goggins, let me say this - he is not for everyone, but he should be. If you are sensitive to swear words, you don’t want to listen to any of his interviews. But if you can handle it, you should seek him out. This book is a fun introduction to Goggins.
This book is an account of one guy’s experience having David Goggins (Navy Seal, World Record Holder for Pull-Ups, Example to Us All) live with him for a month. I read this book just two days ago, and I am reading it again right now. It is hilarious and inspiring.
