No. 16
Hello friends,
It has been a very productive week in the Burgess domicile.
After a much-needed visit from my dear friend, Annette, I feel restored and ready to work on creative projects again.
In addition to some writing projects, I have a new course, which you can read about here or below.
As promised in my last dispatch, you can find some of the comics I acquired from Rick’s Comic City in the List of Interesting Things below -
📝A List of Interesting Things
💥 It Eats What Feeds It - this is one of the comics that I got while Annette was visiting. The artwork in this comic is fantastic. There's a beautiful green sheen over each image, and it really gives you the sense that you are in a humid, sticky swamp.
I had my doubts about the story at first, but as I read, I became more involved in the storyline. It's a very interesting piece. Check it out, and let me know what you think.
📖 A Foulness in the Walls - this comic is a one-shot by Aftershock comics. I was immediately drawn to the cover, and the size of this particular comic. It's a magazine-sized one-shot. I enjoy one-shot comics, because the barrier to entry is low. More often than not, I will start a comic book series, and put it down after only a few issues. I have commitment issues with comics.
