Do you remember Art Bell? He hosted a radio show in the 90s and early 2000s called Coast to Coast AM. He would invite people to talk about pretty much whatever they wanted to, which led to episodes about bigfoot, crop circles, past life experiences, and so on.
In case you weren’t lucky enough to listen to it on a radio made of solid metal in your dad’s garage, here’s a link to an excellent episode -

I’ve been thinking about Art Bell’s radio show, because I just finished listening to That’s Not Right by Scott Meyer.
The About Part
The book is about Amber and Jack. Let me clear something up right now. Amber and Jack do not fall in love, and there is no romance at all happening between the two of them. Amber is a videographer who wants to make a web series about Jack because she's a fan. He hosted a radio show about the supernatural and paranormal.
When she gets there, she finds out that Jack doesn't believe in any of it. He just likes the job because it's easy and it supports him and his wife. He's not at all what she thought. But she's still eager to make the web series. In order to do that, she has to get Jack out of the house and into the world.
The book essentially follows them as they go and investigate all of these radical claims. Not sold? There is an eel man and a volcano (kind of).
Without ruining the ending, I will tell you that it feels like there might be a second book coming someday. I really, really hope there is.
The “I Liked It” Part
It's pretty obvious that I liked this book. This is a stress-free read. I listened to the audiobook throughout the day and laughed out loud more times than I can count. Good for a car ride or just puttering around the house.
It was just a joy to read.
